Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Ijevan, the capital of Tavush. Head southwest on A1 for approximately 10 km until you reach the turnoff for the road leading to Yerevan. Take the left onto the local road, and continue for about 8 km until you see a sign for Mount Ayrikar. The road narrows as you approach the mountain, so drive cautiously. There is a small parking area near the base of the mountain where you can leave your vehicle.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Ayrikar via public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from the Ijevan bus station heading towards Dilijan. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for the road to Mount Ayrikar. This journey should take about 20-30 minutes and cost approximately 300 AMD. From the junction, you'll need to walk about 4 km, following the road signs towards the mountain. Be prepared for some elevation gain as you approach the base.
