    If you are traveling by car from Shirak to Garni Gorge, first head southeast on the M-1 highway. Continue on M-1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Garni. Once in Garni, look for signs directing you to Garni Gorge, which is located just a short drive from the town center. You may need to park your car in Garni and walk to the gorge, as there are limited parking options directly at the gorge entrance. Ensure you have a map or GPS handy to navigate the local streets.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Garni Gorge via public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Shirak to Yerevan. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Yerevan, transfer to another marshrutka heading towards Garni. The second part of the journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Garni, you can either walk to the gorge, which is about 2 kilometers away, or take a local taxi for a small fee.
