    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Gyumri, the capital of Shirak. Head southeast on Tigran Mets Street towards the M4 highway. Continue on the M4 for approximately 10 km until you reach the turn-off for Havuts Tar Monastery. The turn-off is marked but be attentive as it can be easy to miss. Follow the signs for another 5 km on a rural road leading directly to the monastery complex. There is a small parking area near the entrance.
