Getting There

Car
From Tatev Monastery, start by driving southeast on the road leading back to the main highway (M2). After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto M2. Continue driving for about 17 kilometers until you reach the town of Kapan. As you enter Kapan, look for signs directing you toward Քաջարան. Follow the signs for about 6 kilometers until you reach your destination at 68G5+CR, Kapan.

Public Transportation
To reach Քաջարան from Tatev Monastery via public transport, first, you need to walk back to the main road where you can catch a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Kapan. The walk is about 3 kilometers. Once you reach the main road, wait for a marshrutka that says 'Kapan' on it. The journey should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. After arriving in Kapan, you can either take another marshrutka or a taxi to reach Քաջարան, which is about a 6-kilometer drive from the center of Kapan. Expect to pay around 1000-1500 AMD for the taxi.
