    If you prefer a scenic route, you can take the Wings of Tatev cable car from the Tatev Monastery area. The cable car station is located near the monastery entrance. Purchase a ticket at the station; the round trip ticket costs approximately 5,000 AMD (about $10 USD). The cable car will take you to the other side of the Vorotan River, providing stunning views along the way. After arriving at the opposite station, you can hike back to Gavazan, which is a short 15-minute walk from the cable car station.
