Getting There

• Public Transport

  To reach Sevan Island using public transportation, start at the Sevan bus station. Take a local minibus (marshrutka) that heads towards the Sevan Peninsula. The fare is usually around 300 AMD. Once you arrive at the peninsula, you will find signs directing you to the boat dock. Purchase a ticket for the boat ride to Sevan Island, which costs approximately 1,000 AMD. The boat ride will take about 10 minutes, and the boats typically run every 30 minutes during peak tourist season.

• Walking

  If you prefer a more adventurous route and are already on the Sevan Peninsula, you can walk to the boat dock. Follow the path along the peninsula, which is about a 15-minute walk from the main road where the bus or car drops you off. This scenic walk offers beautiful views of Lake Sevan. Once you reach the dock, purchase your boat ticket for 1,000 AMD to reach Sevan Island.

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Sevan. Head towards Sevan Peninsula, which is well-marked. Drive along the main road (H1) that runs parallel to Lake Sevan's shoreline. As you approach the peninsula, look for signs pointing towards Sevan Island. There are a few parking areas at the base of the peninsula where you can leave your car. From there, you will need to take a short boat ride to Sevan Island, which typically costs around 1,000 AMD per person. The boat ride takes about 10 minutes.
