Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey from the center of Tsaghkadzor, near the Tsaghkadzor Lift. Head northeast on the main road, known as M4, for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the crossroads at Tsaghkadzor's main square. From there, turn left onto Yerevan Avenue. Follow Yerevan Avenue for about 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the signs directing you to the monastery. As you approach the outskirts of the town, you will see the signs for Astvatsynkal Monastery. Continue on this path until you reach the entrance of the monastery, which is located at FC7V+5HC, Yernjatap.

    For a more adventurous route, start your journey from the same central location near the Tsaghkadzor Lift. Instead of following the main road, take the trail that leads to the hills west of the lift station. Follow the marked hiking trails for approximately 2 kilometers uphill.
