Walking
From Yenokavan village, the most common approach to Lastiver Cave is on foot. The hike is approximately 6 km and takes you through scenic landscapes. Follow the signs towards Apaga Resort, and then continue along the trail leading into the gorge. The path can be uneven and rocky, so wear appropriate footwear. The hike to Lastiver caves is very picturesque. On the way, you will see some wooden tree huts, cliffs, canyons, and green mountain forests resembling Switzerland.
Public Transport
To reach Yenokavan via public transport, take a bus from Yerevan's Northern Bus Station to Ijevan. The bus journey costs approximately $3-4 USD. From Ijevan, hire a taxi to Yenokavan for around $6-10 USD. Once in Yenokavan, follow the walking directions to Lastiver Cave.

Taxis are readily available in Yerevan and can take you directly to Yenokavan. The journey is about 140 km and takes approximately 2-2.5 hours. A taxi from Yerevan to Yenokavan typically costs around $40-50 USD. From Yenokavan village, follow the walking directions to Lastiver Cave.
