If you are driving from Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Vayots Dzor Region. Follow the signs towards Areni and continue on the M2 road. After passing through Areni, keep an eye out for signs towards Goghtanik. Once you reach the village of Goghtanik, look for a dirt road that leads to the waterfall. The GPS coordinates for Goghtanik waterfall are approximately 39.8785, 45.4651. Make sure to have a map or GPS device as the last stretch might not be well-marked.

Public Transportation
From Yerevan, take a bus or minibus to the town of Vayk. Once in Vayk, you will need to transfer to a local taxi or arrange a ride to Goghtanik. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and can cost around 2000-3000 AMD (Armenian Dram). Make sure to confirm the fare before starting the journey. When you arrive in Goghtanik, ask locals for directions to the waterfall as it is a popular spot and they can guide you to the dirt road leading to it.
