    If driving from Yerevan, head southeast on the main highway towards Ararat. Continue towards Zangakatun, approximately 90 km from Yerevan. Follow the road signs for Paruyr Sevak House-Museum in Zangakatun. Parking is available near the museum.

    From Yerevan's Southern Bus Station, take a bus to Noyakert. From Noyakert, take a taxi to Zangakatun. Alternatively, take a train from Yerevan to Yeraskh, followed by a taxi to Zangakatun. The Paruyr Sevak House-Museum, situated in the poet's native village of Zangakatun, stands as a unique cultural landmark dedicated to preserving and celebrating the legacy of the esteemed Armenian poet, Paruyr Sevak. The museum is housed in Sevak's former residence, carefully preserved to reflect the atmosphere in which he lived and created, providing visitors with an intimate glimpse into his life and artistic journey. Visitors can explore an impressive collection of Sevak's personal belongings, manuscripts, photographs, and documents that narrate his life and work. The exhibits provide context to his literary contributions and the socio-cultural environment of his time, immersing visitors in the poetic spirit of Sevak's work. The museum also displays Sevak's school notebooks, certificates, and diplomas. One corner of the museum recreates Sevak's Yerevan office. A large fresco by artist Sarkis Muradyan adorns the foyer wall, depicting Sevak, his contemporaries, his wife, parents, and sons. Paruyr Sevak is buried in the garden he cultivated, next to his wife Nelly Menagarishvili, who died in the same car accident that took his life. The museum was opened in 1981, on the 10th anniversary of Sevak's death.
