Car
If you're driving, start from the town of Yeghegnadzor, which is the main hub in the Vayots Dzor region. Head north on the M-2 highway towards the town of Areni. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Vayk, then continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the village of Saghmosavan. Follow the signs directing you to Saghmosavank, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the village center. Parking is available near the monastery.

To reach Saghmosavank via public transport, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Yeghegnadzor to Areni. The fare is around 300 AMD and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Areni, you will need to catch another marshrutka heading to Vayk. Inform the driver that you wish to visit Saghmosavank. The fare for this leg is approximately 400 AMD. After reaching Vayk, you can either walk or take a taxi for about 1000 AMD to cover the remaining 5 kilometers to Saghmosavank.
