From Vayots Dzor, head southeast on the M2 highway towards the town of Yeghegnadzor. After approximately 11 km, take the exit toward the road leading to Arates. Continue on this road for about 5 km. You will see signs for Arates Monastery. The last stretch of the road may be unpaved, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the monastery.
