Public Transport
To reach the Black Wall via public transport, start at the central bus station in Kotayk or Yerevan. Look for marshrutkas (minibuses) heading towards Yerevan or Fantan. The fare is approximately 300 AMD per person. After getting off at the Fantan stop, you may need to walk or take a local taxi to reach the Black Wall, roughly 3.3km from the village center. A local taxi should cost around 1000 AMD.
Car
If driving from Kotayk, take the M1 highway towards Yerevan. Exit towards the A1 highway, heading towards Ararat. Continue on the A1 for about 10 kilometers until the turnoff for Fantan. Follow the signs to Fantan. Once in the village, use GPS to navigate to the coordinates 40.3743649, 44.702024. There are no significant tolls on this route. Parking is available near the site.
