Car
If you are driving from Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Vayots Dzor. After approximately 130 km, take the exit towards the town of Vayk. Continue on the road through Vayk until you reach the town of Urtsadzor. Look for the signs pointing towards 'Tapi Castle' and 'Gevorg Marzpetuni'. The castle is located approximately 5 km from Urtsadzor. Use GPS coordinates (39.9624758, 44.8624106) for accurate navigation. There is no entrance fee for the castle.

Public Transportation
To reach Gevorg Marzpetuni/Tapi Castle using public transport, take a bus or marshrutka (minibus) from Yerevan to Vayk. Buses leave regularly from the Yerevan Central Bus Station. The journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, and tickets cost approximately 1,500 AMD. Upon arriving in Vayk, you can take a taxi to Urtsadzor, which is about 10 km away and should cost around 1,000 to 1,500 AMD. Once in Urtsadzor, follow the local signs for 'Tapi Castle' or ask locals for directions, as it is a short drive from the town.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Vayots Dzor to Gevorg Marzpetuni/Tapi Castle. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 2,000 to 3,000 AMD for a one-way trip from Urtsadzor. The drive takes about 15 minutes.
