If you are traveling by car from the town of Yeghegnadzor, head southwest on the M2 highway for approximately 10 kilometers. Watch for the signs directing you to Noravank Monastery. Turn left onto the Noravank Monastery Road (3604) and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will see the entrance to Noravank Monastery on your right. There is a small parking area available near the entrance.
By Public Transportation
To reach Noravank by public transport, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from Yeghegnadzor to the village of Areni. Marshrutkas leave frequently from the main bus station. Once you arrive in Areni, you can find a taxi or arrange for a local driver to take you to Noravank Monastery, which is about a 15-minute drive from Areni. Be prepared to negotiate your fare with the taxi driver, as prices can vary.
Walking from Nearby Locations
If you are already in the vicinity and wish to reach Noravank on foot, you can hike from the village of Areni. The distance is approximately 6 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the road from Areni towards Noravank, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Ensure you have adequate water and sun protection, as there are limited shaded areas.
