Getting There

  • Car

    Start your journey from Yeghegnadzor, the capital of Vayots Dzor. Head north on the M2 highway towards the town of Artabuynk. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a junction. Turn right onto the road leading to Teghenis Mountain. Follow this road for about 15 km, and you will arrive at the base of Teghenis Mountain. Parking is available near the trailhead, but be prepared for a small parking fee of about 1000 AMD.

  • Public Transportation

    From Yeghegnadzor, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading to Artabuynk. The marshrutkas depart regularly from the main bus station, and the fare is around 500 AMD. Once you reach Artabuynk, you will need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local driver who can take you to the base of Teghenis Mountain, which is about a 15 km drive. Expect to pay around 3000-4000 AMD for the taxi ride.
