    If you are already in the Arabkir neighborhood, you can easily walk to the Arabkir Memorial located on Vahram Papazyan Street. Head towards Vahram Papazyan Street and continue until you see the memorial.

    From the city center, take a bus, minibus, or the metro to a stop near Komitas Avenue. From there, walk or take a short taxi ride to Vahram Papazyan Street where the memorial is located. Bus and metro fares are AMD 100. A trolleybus ride costs AMD 50. As of January 2025, a daily travel pass costs AMD 880.

The Arabkir Memorial, officially known as the Nor Arabkir Memorial Complex, is located in the Arabkir district of Yerevan, Armenia. Completed in 1985, the memorial was created by architect Garnik Ghambaryan. It stands as a tribute to the residents of the Arabkir district who were killed or went missing during World War II. The memorial complex features a slender monument that ascends to a height of 20 meters, symbolizing the rebirth of Armenia. Massive stone "wings" rise from both sides of the monument, and a pool is situated in front. On the left side of the memorial, there are 10-meter-high metal bird sculptures, representing the symbols of the destroyed and revived Arabkir. The memorial is constructed of hewn basalt. Visitors can reflect in the serene atmosphere, explore the surrounding greenery, and appreciate the views of Yerevan. The memorial provides insights into significant historical events, offering a deeper understanding of Armenia's past.
