Getting There

• Walking

  From the Oranjestad cruise terminal or downtown area, the Bridge is easily accessible on foot. Head east along L.G. Smith Boulevard, the main waterfront thoroughfare. The bridge is located near the main shopping areas and is a short walk from the Royal Plaza Mall. Look for the prominent structure offering unobstructed views of the harbor and coastline.

• Public Transport

  Arubus, the local bus service, offers a convenient and affordable way to reach the Bridge. The central bus station is located adjacent to the cruise terminal. From there, any bus route that travels along L.G. Smith Boulevard will bring you close to the bridge. A single trip Retour card costs $5.00 USD. The streetcar is a free option that runs through downtown with stops near the cruise terminal.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available at the cruise terminal, hotels, and popular areas in Oranjestad. A short taxi ride from the cruise terminal or most downtown locations to the Bridge will typically cost a minimum of $7 USD. Note that there is a $3 surcharge on Sundays, official holidays, and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Driving

  If driving, navigate to L.G. Smith Boulevard in Oranjestad. Paid parking is enforced in Oranjestad from Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. Parking rates are approximately $1.14 USD per hour. Several parking garages and lots are available along the boulevard. Some Renaissance Hotel lots are free.
