Philip's Animal Garden, founded in 2009 by Philip Conrad Merryweather, is more than just a tourist attraction; it's a labor of love and a sanctuary for animals in need. This non-profit organization is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing a loving home for exotic animals that have been mistreated, abandoned, or illegally traded. Located in Noord, Aruba, the garden is home to over 50 different species from Aruba and neighboring Caribbean islands. Visitors can get up close and personal with a diverse array of animals, including parrots, pigs, donkeys, deer, cows, crocodiles, snakes, and a large collection of exotic birds. The garden also houses an alpaca, miniature horses, goats, and a camel. Philip's Animal Garden offers guided tours every half hour, providing an opportunity to learn about each animal's unique story and the importance of animal welfare. The interactive experience allows visitors to feed many of the animals, making it a memorable experience for adults and children alike.
