Discover more about Colorado Point Scenic Lookout

Colorado Point Scenic Lookout, also known as Seroe Colorado, is located at the southeastern tip of Aruba. This picturesque destination provides visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of the island's rugged coastline meeting the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The lookout is a perfect spot for relaxation, reflection, and photography, offering a serene escape from crowded tourist areas. Historically, the area around Colorado Point has significance. From 1878 to 1914, it was the site of the Colorado Guano Mine. During World War II, the point was fortified with guns to protect the nearby oil refinery. Today, visitors can still see remnants of military defense zones and bunkers used by American soldiers during the war. While the Seroe Colorado Lighthouse is nearby, it is not particularly known for its design. However, the surrounding coastal views more than compensate, offering vistas of white sand beaches and rocky landscapes. The area is also home to diverse wildlife, including donkeys, lizards, goats, and Aruban whiptails. Be cautious of cacti while exploring the terrain. Nearby attractions include Baby Beach, Rodgers Beach, and Boca Grandi. San Nicolas, known for its artistic murals, is also worth a visit.
