Discover more about Andicuri Beach

Andicuri Beach is a hidden gem on Aruba's rugged northeastern coast, offering a serene escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Unlike the island's more popular beaches, Andicuri boasts a tranquil atmosphere, dramatic cliffs, and powerful waves. The beach is renowned for its striking rock formations, including limestone and volcanic rocks that frame the shoreline. These formations create a visually stunning backdrop and provide some shade. The constant waves entering the cove make it a haven for bodyboarding and kitesurfing, with local competitions held here. However, swimming and snorkeling are generally not recommended due to the strong currents. Alongside the main beach, you'll discover natural tide pools teeming with marine life. These pools offer a chance to observe creatures like hermit crabs and small fish. Beachcombing is also popular along the pristine shores. Andicuri Beach played a role in Aruba's history, serving as a landing point for ships and a fishing site for early Dutch settlers in the 17th century. In recent decades, it has become a destination for travelers seeking a secluded experience and a connection with nature. Visitors should come prepared, as Andicuri Beach has limited facilities. It's recommended to bring your own food, drinks, and sunscreen. Remember to respect the environment by not littering and avoiding barbecues on the beach.
