    From Oranjestad, take the Arubus towards Noord. The bus stops near the high-rise hotel area. From there, walk towards the Old Dutch Windmill; the sanctuary is located just in front of it. A one-way bus fare is US$2.60.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available in Aruba. From the high-rise hotel area, a short taxi ride to the Bubali Bird Sanctuary will cost approximately US$7. Taxi fares are fixed and should be confirmed in advance.

This 20-hectare wetland, originally created as a wastewater treatment facility, has become a vital sanctuary for over 80 species of migratory birds. Birdwatchers can observe a variety of species, including herons, egrets, gulls, skimmers, coots, and ducks. The observation tower on the north side of the sanctuary provides an excellent vantage point for spotting these birds in their natural habitat.
