From the cruise terminal or Royal Plaza Mall, walk south along L.G. Smith Boulevard; the park will be on your right. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes from the main shopping areas.
Public Transport
The Arubus public bus service is a convenient and affordable way to reach Queen Wilhelmina Park. From various points in Oranjestad or other parts of the island, take the Arubus to the central bus station located near the cruise terminal. From there, walk south along L.G. Smith Boulevard to reach the park. A single bus fare is approximately $2.60 USD, or a retour card (two trips) can be purchased for $5.00 USD.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Oranjestad and can take you directly to Queen Wilhelmina Park. Taxi stands are located outside the cruise terminal, major hotels, and shopping areas. A short taxi ride within Oranjestad typically costs between $7 and $15 USD, depending on the distance and time of day. Note that there is a $3 surcharge on Sundays, official holidays, and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Car
If driving, navigate to L.G. Smith Boulevard in Oranjestad. Queen Wilhelmina Park is located along the waterfront on the boulevard. Paid parking is available in marked spaces along L.G. Smith Boulevard and nearby streets. Parking fees are approximately $0.55 USD for 30 minutes. Be aware of yellow-lined parking spaces, as these are for permit holders only.
