Getting There

  • Public Transport - Train

    Start at Adelaide Railway Station located at 125 North Terrace, Adelaide. Purchase a ticket to Belair station from the ticket counter or using the ticket vending machines. Board the train on the Belair line. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at Belair Station. From there, follow the signs to the park entrance, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Head southeast on Upper Sturt Road, and you will reach the park entrance.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    You can catch the bus from the city center. Start at the Adelaide Central Bus Station located at 85 Franklin Street, Adelaide. Take the bus number 196 or 198 towards Belair. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Upper Sturt Road and Longwood Drive stop. From there, walk down Longwood Drive, which will lead you directly to the park entrance, about a 10-minute walk.

  • Walking or Cycling

    If you prefer to walk or cycle, you can start from the city center. Head south on King William Street towards South Terrace. Continue onto Unley Road, which will lead you towards Belair. The distance is approximately 14 km, and it will take about 2-3 hours to walk or 30-45 minutes to cycle, depending on your pace. Follow the signs to Belair National Park once you reach the area.
