Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Alice Springs town center, start at the Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve. Exit the reserve and head south on Stuart Terrace towards the intersection with the Stuart Highway. Turn left onto the Stuart Highway and continue walking for approximately 2.5 kilometers. As you walk, look out for the signs pointing towards Irlpme. After around 30 minutes, you will reach the intersection of the Stuart Highway and National Highway 87. From there, continue straight on National Highway 87 for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Alice Springs Landmark on your left.

  • Public Transport

    From the Alice Springs central bus station, catch the local bus service that heads towards Irlpme. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the correct route that will take you along the Stuart Highway. Once on the bus, inform the driver of your destination and they will drop you off at the nearest stop to Alice Springs Landmark. After getting off, walk approximately 500 meters towards National Highway 87, and you will see the landmark ahead.
