From the center of Alice Springs, drive southwest on the Stuart Highway (A87). Continue for about 4 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Kangaroo Sanctuary, which is well-signposted. Follow the signs for approximately 1 kilometer to the sanctuary entrance. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
Catch a bus from the Alice Springs central bus station to the nearest stop to the Kangaroo Sanctuary. Look for buses that head towards the West MacDonnell Ranges or specifically to the Kangaroo Sanctuary if available. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the sanctuary entrance.
