Getting There

• Walking

  Trevor Reid Park is centrally located in Alice Springs, making it easily accessible on foot from many points in the town center. From the Todd Mall, head north on Parsons Street, then turn left onto Wills Terrace. The park will be on your left. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes. There are no costs involved.

• Public Transport

  Public buses in Alice Springs service the town center, with several routes stopping near Trevor Reid Park. Check the local bus schedule for the most convenient route and stop. From the Alice Springs Interchange, several bus routes will take you close to the park. Alight at a stop on Wills Terrace. From there, it is a short walk to the park. As of July 1, 2025, all public bus services are free.

• Taxi/Ride-Share

  Taxis and ride-share services are readily available in Alice Springs. A short ride from the Alice Springs Airport to Trevor Reid Park typically costs around $20 - $30 AUD and takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Driving

  If driving, approach Trevor Reid Park via Wills Terrace. Limited street parking is available. Parking is generally free, but it can be competitive during peak times. Alternatively, paid parking is available at the Hartley Street Car Park, a few blocks away; however, there are a limited number of permits available. Keep in mind that Alice Springs Airport has short-term and long-term parking options. Short-term parking is free for the first 10 minutes. Long-term parking costs approximately $20 AUD per day.
