From Cairns City, head west along the Cairns Western Arterial Road (Route 91). Turn left at the roundabout onto Redlynch Intake Road and follow it to the end, approximately 20 minutes. The Crystal Cascades car park is well-signed. Parking is free. From the Cairns Airport, the drive is approximately 23 minutes. A taxi from Cairns city will cost approximately $45-$60. A taxi from the airport will cost $55-$70.
Walking
While walking from Cairns to Crystal Cascades is possible, it is a lengthy 16.2km walk that would take over 3 hours. It is recommended to find alternative transportation.
