The Barron Valley Hotel, or 'The BV' as locals call it, is a historic hotel in the heart of Atherton, Queensland. Built in the Art Deco style in 1938, replacing earlier hotels on the site dating back to the 1880s, it has served as a social hub and even as the Australian Army's headquarters during WWII. Today, it offers a bar, bistro, and bottle shop, continuing its legacy as a central meeting place.
