Driving
From Cairns, drive south on the Bruce Highway (A1) for approximately 75km. Turn right onto Bartle Frere Road, following signs for Josephine Falls. Continue for 8km to the Josephine Falls car park. Parking is free and readily available. From the car park, it's a 700m paved walk to the falls. There are picnic and toilet facilities at the car park. No fees are required for entry or parking.
Public Transport
From Cairns, take the train or bus to Babinda. Queensland Rail Travel operates a train from Cairns Central Station to Babinda 4 times a week. Tickets cost $3–219 and the journey takes 1h 10m. Alternatively, Premier Motor Service operates a bus from Cairns Central Station to Babinda once daily. Tickets cost $20–28 and the journey takes 55 min. From Babinda, take a taxi to Josephine Falls, approximately 10km away. Taxi fares are around $30-$40. There are no mandatory access fees to reach the entrance.
