Driving

From Millaa Millaa, head south towards the Palmerston Highway. Turn right onto Junction Road, a dirt road that continues for approximately 2 kilometers before reaching the Mungalli Falls Outdoor Education Centre. Parking is available at the center, and from there, a short walk leads to the falls.

Public Transport

To reach Mungalli Falls via public transport, take a bus from Atherton to Millaa Millaa. Upon arriving in Millaa Millaa, you may need to walk or hire a taxi to reach Junction Road. Confirm bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. From Millaa Millaa, it is approximately 14 minute drive to Mungalli Falls. Taxi fares will vary.

A short bushwalk from the Mungalli Falls Outdoor Education Centre leads to viewing platforms, including a platypus viewing area. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including various bird species and wallabies.While access to the bottom of the falls is blocked off, the views from the available vantage points are still impressive. It's also said that glow worms can be spotted around the base of the waterfall. Mungalli Falls is a short 14-minute drive from Millaa Millaa Falls, making it easy to visit both in a single trip. The falls are part of a broader network of natural attractions in the Atherton Tablelands, including the 17-kilometer waterfall circuit.
