Getting there

Car

If you are driving to Scenic World, start on the Great Western Highway (A32) heading towards Katoomba. Follow the signs to Katoomba and take the exit towards Katoomba Town Centre. Once you reach Katoomba, turn left onto Cliff Drive. Continue on Cliff Drive until you see Scenic World on your left at the intersection of Violet Street and Cliff Drive. There is ample parking available on-site, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around AUD 10 per day.

Public Transportation - Train

From Sydney, take a train from Central Station to Katoomba Station on the Blue Mountains Line. The journey takes approximately two hours. Once you arrive at Katoomba Station, exit the station and head towards Bathurst Road. You can either walk (about 25 minutes) or catch a bus (Route 686) from the bus stop outside the station to Scenic World. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Be sure to check the current bus schedules as they may vary.

Public Transportation - Bus

If you are already in the Blue Mountains area, you can take the local bus services (Route 686 or 695) that connect various towns like Leura and Wentworth Falls to Katoomba. Make sure to get off at the Scenic World stop. The bus fare is usually around AUD 5, and you can pay with a contactless credit card or an Opal card, which is the public transport payment method in New South Wales.
