Getting There

• Walking

  From the Queen Street Mall, walk south along Queen Street, then turn right onto William Street. Continue onto Alice Street, and you'll find the gardens on your left. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. No costs involved.

• Public Transport

  Take the free City Loop bus (routes 40 and 50) and disembark at the Alice Street stop in front of the gardens. Alternatively, the closest train stations are Central and South Bank, both a 10-minute walk away. Several bus routes also stop on Alice and George Streets. A single-ride Translink bus or train ticket within Zone 1 costs approximately $3.60.

• Taxi/Ride-Share

  Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available throughout Brisbane's city center. A short taxi ride from the Queen Street Mall to the City Botanic Gardens will typically cost between $6 - $10, depending on traffic.

• Parking

  Limited metered street parking is available around the City Botanic Gardens on Alice, Albert, and Margaret Streets. Alternatively, several parking garages are located within a 10-15 minute walk, including the Myer Centre Car Park and Wilson Parking at 126 Margaret Street.
