Breathtaking Views at Kangaroo Point Cliffs Lookout

Getting There

• Bus

  If you're starting from Brisbane's Central Station, walk to the Queen Street Bus Station located at the Queen Street Mall. Catch the bus number 199 or 200 heading towards Kangaroo Point. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Kangaroo Point Cliffs' and walk down River Terrace for approximately 5 minutes until you reach Scout Place.

• Ferry

  From the city center, head to the Brisbane River and find the CityCat ferry terminal. Board the CityCat ferry heading towards the 'Kangaroo Point' stop. The ferry ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards River Terrace, and then head up to Scout Place which is a short 5-minute walk uphill.

• Walking

  If you're near South Bank, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Kangaroo Point Cliffs Lookout. Head towards the river and find the pedestrian path along the riverbank. Follow the path east until you reach the Goodwill Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking along the river until you reach River Terrace. Scout Place is located a short walk up from the river path.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bike from one of the city’s bike-sharing services located around the city. Start from the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and cycle east along the riverside. Follow the path and cross the Goodwill Bridge. Continue onto River Terrace. Scout Place will be on your left after a short ride.
