Bus
To reach Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary from the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD), head to the Queen Street Bus Station. Take the bus number 430 towards 'Garden City' and stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary', which is directly outside the sanctuary. The total journey time is approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic.
Ferry and Bus
Start your journey by taking the CityCat ferry from the Brisbane CBD. Board the ferry at one of the CityCat terminals, such as 'North Quay' or 'Eagle Street Pier', and travel west towards 'St Lucia'. Disembark at the 'University of Queensland' stop. From there, walk to the bus stop near the university and catch the 430 bus towards 'Garden City'. Get off at 'Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary'. The entire trip will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start from the Brisbane CBD and follow the river path along the Brisbane River. Head west towards the suburbs, following signs for 'Fig Tree Pocket'. The ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your pace. Once you reach Jesmond Road, follow the signs to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, which is located at 708 Jesmond Rd.
