Take the 385 towards the 'Mount Coot-Tha' stop. Once you arrive at the Mount Coot-Tha bus stop, you will be just a short walk away from the lookout. Head towards Sir Samuel Griffith Drive, and follow the signs to the Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout, which is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental stations in Brisbane. From the CBD, take the Bicentennial Bikeway along the Brisbane River heading west. Follow the paths to the Toowong area, and then head towards Mount Coot-Tha. There are bike paths leading up to the summit, but be prepared for some steep sections. Once you reach Sir Samuel Griffith Drive, follow it to the Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can make your way to the base of Mount Coot-Tha. Start from the Brisbane CBD and head towards the South Bank area. From South Bank, walk across the Victoria Bridge and continue along Melbourne Street until you reach the Toowong area. From there, follow Sir Samuel Griffith Drive up the hill, which is about a 4 km walk. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can be steep in parts.
