Getting There

• Bus

  If you're starting from Brisbane's central railway station (Roma Street Station), exit the station and head to the bus stop located on Roma Street. Take the bus number 199 or 300, heading towards the city. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'George St near Adelaide St'. From there, walk south on George Street for about 5 minutes, and Old Government House will be on your left at 2 George St.

• Walking

  If you're near the Queen Street Mall, head east towards Albert Street. Turn right onto Albert Street and continue until you reach George Street. Once on George Street, turn left and walk about 10 minutes south. Old Government House will be on your right at 2 George St.

• CityCat (Ferry)

  If you are near the Brisbane River, you can take the CityCat ferry. Board a CityCat heading towards the Sydney Street terminal. Get off at the stop 'North Quay'. From there, walk east towards George Street, cross over the Victoria Bridge, and continue walking straight. After 10 minutes, Old Government House will be on your left at 2 George St.

• Train

  If you are at Central Station, take the train to Roma Street Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop on Roma Street. You can catch bus number 199 or 300 to George St near Adelaide St. After getting off the bus, walk 5 minutes south on George Street to reach Old Government House at 2 George St.
