Public Transport

The Gabba is a public transport destination, with bus and train services providing the most convenient access. Use the Translink Journey Planner to map your route, with many services stopping at the Woolloongabba busway station, a short walk from the stadium. As of August 5, 2024, public transport fares within Brisbane are capped at $0.50. Check if your event ticket includes free travel on Queensland Rail City Network trains (excluding Airtrain), Brisbane City Council buses, or special event shuttle services.

Taxi / Ride-Share

Taxi and ride-share services like Uber are readily available in Brisbane. Designated drop-off points are located a short walk from the venue on Princess Street, Potts Street, or Hubert Street. A typical 5km taxi ride in Brisbane costs around $13 AUD. Keep in mind that surge pricing may apply during peak event times.

Walking

The Gabba is located approximately a 25-minute walk from South Bank and a 40-minute walk from Queen Street Mall. From South Bank, walk along the riverfront and cross the Goodwill Bridge, then follow the signs to the Gabba. From Queen Street Mall, walk south-east along George Street, then turn onto Alice Street and cross the river via the Story Bridge, following signs to the stadium.
