The Skyneedle: A Towering Wonder in South Brisbane

Getting There

• Bus

  If you are starting from Brisbane Central Station, head to the bus stop on Ann Street, located just outside the station. Look for bus route 199 which will take you towards South Brisbane. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop 'Manning St at Montague Rd.' From the bus stop, walk south on Manning Street for about 5 minutes. The Skyneedle will be on your left at 33 Manning St.

• Train and Bus

  From Brisbane Central Station, catch a train to South Bank Station on the South Brisbane Line. Once you arrive at South Bank Station, exit and walk towards the main road (Grey Street). Turn left onto Grey Street and then right onto Manning Street. Walk for about 10 minutes, and you will see The Skyneedle at 33 Manning St on your right.

• Walking

  If you are near the South Bank Parklands, you can walk to The Skyneedle. Head towards the river and walk along the boardwalk until you reach the intersection with Manning Street. Turn left and walk up Manning Street for about 10 minutes. The Skyneedle will be at 33 Manning St on your right.

• CityCat Ferry

  Take the CityCat ferry from any of the ferry terminals along the Brisbane River to the South Bank Ferry Terminal. Once you disembark, head towards the exit of the terminal and walk towards the river. Turn left onto Grey Street, then right onto Manning Street. It is a 10-minute walk to The Skyneedle, located at 33 Manning St.
