Getting There

Walking
From the centre of West End, head east along Boundary Street towards the Brisbane River. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Montague Road. Turn left onto Montague Road and follow it for about 700 meters. Look for the pedestrian crossing to cross over the road. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. The entrance to the lookout is located on Scout Place, just a few minutes walk from there.

Head to the nearest bus stop on Boundary Street. Catch the bus number 199, which travels towards the city. Ride for about 4 stops and get off at the stop near the intersection of Main Street and River Terrace. From there, walk along River Terrace towards Kangaroo Point Cliffs Lookout, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from West End to Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Start at the intersection of Boundary Street and Vulture Street. You can catch the CityCat ferry from the West End Ferry Terminal. Board the CityCat heading south towards the city and get off at the 'Kangaroo Point' stop.
