From the main entrance of Purnululu National Park, follow the Bungle Bungles road (4WD recommended). Drive approximately 53 kilometers on this road until you reach the Echidna Chasm car park. The road is unsealed and may require a high-clearance vehicle. Ensure you have enough fuel before setting out, as there are no services in the park.
Walking
Once you arrive at the Echidna Chasm car park, follow the marked walking trail leading to Echidna Chasm. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. The path is relatively flat but can be rocky, so wear sturdy shoes and carry plenty of water, especially during warmer months.
