Lets Go Surfing Byron Bay, established in 1995, provides surf lessons for everyone from beginners to experienced surfers. Located at 5/11 Fletcher St, a short walk from Main Beach, this surf school is perfectly positioned to take advantage of Byron Bay's excellent surfing conditions. Brenda Miley started the surf school with the goal of encouraging more women into surfing. Since then, the school has grown and helped thousands of people from all over the world learn to surf. Lets Go Surfing focuses on surf safety, fun, fitness, and surf skills. All surf coaches are accredited and the school is affiliated with Surfing Australia and the Australian Sports Commission. Lessons cover the basics, including warm-up, paddling, catching waves, and standing. They also teach important surf and safety rules, including information on rips, tides, sandbanks, and waves. Lets Go Surfing is a Byron Bay Council-approved beach operator, licensed to teach on Byron Bay's beaches. They offer a range of lessons, including group, private, and kids' lessons. The school also caters to educational, corporate, and special needs groups. All necessary equipment is provided, including a board, wetsuit, rash vest, sunscreen, and zinc.
