From the Byron Bay Main Beach, head south along the coastline. You will pass by the Byron Bay Surf Club. Continue walking along the beach until you reach Clarkes Beach. Once you reach Clarkes Beach, look for a path that leads you towards the Cape Byron Headland. Follow the path up the hill, and then descend towards Wategos Beach. The Wreck is located just off the shore from Wategos Beach, so you may need to walk along the beach to see it clearly.

If you are starting from the Byron Bay town center, walk towards Lighthouse Road. Follow Lighthouse Road until you reach the Cape Byron Lighthouse.
