I have done a few different trips out to the Great Barrier Reef, and Reef Adventures is definitely one of my favourites 😍 the full day trip was amazing with clear view to the coral. The crew were awesome and very informative 👏. I really liked having our own meal packs, for me I normally I don't get to eat much on other boats as I'm normally last back on the boat which means most people have started seconds before I start. This was the first trip I actually got to eat properly, thanks guys. If you've never been and not sure how you will go in the boat just take a garlic tablet and enjoy a day of snorkeling with the 2 great locations. I'll definitely be back 😀.

The snorkelling with wild clams, turtles and the reef was amazing but the semi-sub tour was even better. The biologists (we had Luiza and a great guy whose name I am embarrassed not to remember) are friendly and knowledgeable and eager to share why the reef and cay are unique, but all the staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend the life jacket for snorkeling even if you’re a good swimmer - you want to be out there the whole time and you’re going to be much less tired with it, so you’ll see more. There’s smaller groups on this tour, which really helps you to see fish etc as you don’t have four hundred people scaring them off.

Great day for all ages

We were recommended this reef adventure as my husband and I are in our 60s - healthy and competent swimmers. Being a small group, maximum 36 guests, were we assured of personalised care and we received this all day. The Captain and crew could not have done anything more to make the day special and easy. From the time we boarded we were given full instructions about the day and our responsibilities. In the water, the crew were attentive and very helpful (getting in and out) We had a few families on board, and single travellers so the mix of people was interesting and fun. The food was plentiful and delicious. I would highly recommend this reef cruise to all visitors to Cairns as it’s great value for money
