Getting There

  • Bus

    If you are starting from the Canberra city centre, walk to the Alinga Street bus stop. Take the ACTION bus number 3 or 4 towards Belconnen. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the 'Belconnen Interchange.' From here, transfer to bus number 62 or 63 which will take you directly to 'Leverrier Street.' After a short ride, disembark at the stop 'Leverrier Street' and walk for about 5 minutes straight to reach the AIS Visitor Centre located at 26 Leverrier St, Bruce ACT 2617.

  • Light Rail

    From the Canberra City Centre, head to the nearest light rail station (City Station). Take the light rail towards Gungahlin and travel for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Canberra International Airport' station. From there, catch bus number 3 towards Belconnen. Alight at 'Belconnen Interchange' and transfer to bus number 62 or 63. Get off at 'Leverrier Street' and walk 5 minutes to the AIS Visitor Centre at 26 Leverrier St, Bruce ACT 2617.

  • Walking and Bus Combination

    If you prefer walking, you can take a stroll to the nearest bus stop on Marcus Clarke Street, and board bus number 3 or 4 towards Belconnen. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at 'Belconnen Interchange.' From here, you can walk to the AIS Visitor Centre.
