If you are in the city center, start at the Canberra Centre. Head south on Bunda Street, then turn right onto Akuna Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Northbourne Avenue. Cross Northbourne Avenue and continue onto the pedestrian path along the Ainslie Avenue. After about 1.5 km, turn left onto the path that leads to the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Follow the signs to the Gardens, which will lead you to the National Rock Garden located nearby. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.
