Public Transportation
From the city center, take the Blue Rapid bus towards Belconnen and get off at the City West bus station. Transfer to the Black Rapid bus towards Belconnen and get off at the Black Mountain Peninsula stop. From there, follow the signs to the Black Mountain Nature Reserve entrance.
Walking
From the city center, walk towards the Lake Burley Griffin and follow the walking path along the lake towards the west. Continue walking past the National Museum of Australia and the Australian National University until you reach the base of Black Mountain. Follow the signs for the walking trail that leads up to the Black Mountain Nature Reserve.
