Public Transport - Bus
If you are starting from Canberra City, head to the nearest bus interchange, such as the Canberra Centre. Look for Bus Route 1, which serves the Parkes area. Board the bus and enjoy the ride. Get off at the stop for 'Commonwealth Avenue', which is one of the main stops close to Magna Carta Place. From there, walk south along Commonwealth Avenue, then turn left onto Parkes Place, and continue walking until you reach Magna Carta Place.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Australian National Gallery, you can walk to Magna Carta Place. Start by heading south on Parkes Place, which is a straight path. Continue walking for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Magna Carta Place, located just to the right of the intersection with Constitution Avenue. It’s a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the surrounding parkland.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike at one of the bike-sharing stations available throughout Canberra. Start from the city center and head towards the lake, following the bike paths along the shore. Make your way to Parkes Place.
