From Manuka, head south on Palmerston Lane towards the intersection with Flinders Way. Turn left onto Flinders Way and walk until you reach the intersection with Red Hill Drive. This is about a 15-minute walk. Continue onto Red Hill Drive, which will lead you toward the entrance of Red Hill Nature Reserve. The path will begin to incline as you approach the lookout. Follow the signs for Red Hill Lookout; it is approximately a 20-minute uphill walk from the entrance of the reserve to the lookout.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Manuka, walk to the nearest bus stop on Flinders Way (approximately a 5-minute walk). Take Bus Route 2 (to Woden) or Bus Route 63 (to Canberra City) from the stop. Get off at the stop on Red Hill Drive near the intersection with Monaro Crescent. From there, it is about a 10-minute uphill walk to the lookout.
