If you are starting from the Australian War Memorial, head south on Fairbairn Avenue, then turn left onto Limestone Avenue. Continue straight, and you will reach the intersection with Constitution Avenue. Cross Constitution Avenue, and proceed towards the National Gallery of Australia. From the Gallery, follow the path leading towards the Old Parliament House. The Senate Gardens are located adjacent to the Old Parliament House, at Parliament Square and King George Terrace.

From the Canberra Centre, take the ACTION bus route 1 (to the City) or route 2 (to Woden). Get off at the 'Parliament House' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Senate Gardens. Head east towards Old Parliament House, and you will find the gardens beside it. Make sure to check the ACTION website for current bus schedules as fares may apply.

From the National Museum of Australia, head east along the shared path, passing by the National Gallery of Australia, until you reach Old Parliament House.
